The fall virtual mini-sessions are hosted by Rebecca Wilson, Executive Coach, Mindfulness Teacher, and Founder of Arborvida Conscious Leadership.

Hosted on the 4th Wednesday of the month, September to November, these short, high-impact sessions offer:

  • A space to pause and reflect
  • An opportunity to connect and grow alongside fellow business leaders
  • Practical skills to apply to bring more clarity and calm into your workweek.

Session 1: The Art of Slowing Down to Speed Up

Wednesday, September 23rd | 12:00–12:15pm

September’s session explores one of the most counterintuitive leadership skills: how slowing down actually increases clarity, decisiveness, and impact. In fast-moving environments, many leaders unconsciously speed past the very moments that fuel effective, sustainable leadership. In this session, you’ll learn some simple micro-practices to interrupt autopilot and make space for clarity inside fast-moving days. You’ll leave with tools you can use immediately to shift the pace of your leadership without losing momentum.

Session 2: How to Quiet a Busy Mind

Wednesday, October 28th | 12:00–12:15pm

One of the most common challenges modern leaders face is heavy cognitive load and the ongoing difficulty of “shutting the mind off”. In this session, we’ll explore how mental noise shows up in leadership, and some of the common ways leaders inadvertently reinforce it. We’ll practice simple ways to shift out of overthinking and back into the present moment in real time. You’ll leave with practical tools you can use throughout your day to create more mental space and clarity – at home and at work.

Session 3: Working with Reactivity when the Stakes are High

Wednesday, November 25th | 12:00–12:15pm

Even the most grounded leaders can lose access to clarity under pressure —whether it shows up as urgency, defensiveness, pleasing, or emotional charge. In this session, we’ll explore what happens in the body in those pressurized moments and why “staying calm” is often the wrong goal. You’ll learn a simple micro-practice to recognize reactivity as it’s forming and create enough internal space to choose your response in the heat of the moment. The aim is not to suppress reactivity, but to work with it in a way that keeps leadership clear, steady, and present.
