Restricted Fire Zone Issued

As of 12:01am June 9th, 2023, the rest of the fire region has fallen under a Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ).  This is instituted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry under the Forest Fires Prevention Act.  Below is the official RFZ poster that can be printed and displayed in the window of any willing high-traffic businesses to assist in public awareness. The Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to host Diversity in the Valley, an expo dedicated to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Business owners and operators will browse our exhibit floor for guidance on the design and execution of an effective diversity policy in the workplace for both their employees and clientele. Golf Tournament supports Class of ’23 Bursary

We are hosting a golf tournament May 29th to raise funds in support of our Class of ’23 Bursary program providing graduating high school students from this region cash rewards of $250 toward the purchase of educational materials for post-secondary studies. Given we are a membership-driven organization, we rely on the help of the business community to sponsor our efforts. With you by our side at this fun-filled event, we are certain to meet our fundraising goals to offer bursaries for every high school in our catchment region and to continue to operate the chamber of commerce that supports its communities.
